UBS and clubs in Brisbane’s suburbs could soon be open until 3am with many among those rushing to extend their trading hours into the early morning following the Newman Government’s decision to lift a moratorium on applications to trade past midnight.
A trial of mystery drinkers designed to test whether licensees are doing the right thing is also due to begin in December as part of the Government’s Safe Night Out strategy.
